Innovative tools to enchance the development of science and technology in Ukraine

Priorities and tasks in reforms of the Ukrainian economy call for the development and validation of innovative instruments aimed at strengthening science and technology. They are now being shaped following complex interactions at the macro- and microeconomic level under transformation of research and development efforts into a global social and economic phenomenon characterised by dynamic quantitative and qualitative changes. In the session, invited speakers, researchers, experts and practitioners will share their views on the following:

  • The findings of the latest studies on the opportunities to intensify the development of science and technology in the context of cooperation between research universities and real sector of the Ukrainian economy.

  • Existing features and inconsistencies in the development of the national R&D component under the new economic conditions, and current sources of the development of science and technology in the information society.

  • Potential for the development of organisational forms in science and technology under the conditions of the information society, improvement of government regulations for R&D in Ukraine.
