Socioeconomic Well-being of the Population under Macroeconomic Instability

September 29 2 p.m.-5 p.m.

Under macroeconomic instability and the expansion of crisis trends into various spheres of public life, Ukrainian society needs to develop and implement scientifically sound state policy in the field of socio-economic welfare. The current events in the world indicate the onset of a systemic crisis that affects practically every aspect of public life and is due to the fact that most socially significant decisions in modern conditions are made without a deep and comprehensive analysis of their consequences. During the discussion with invited experts we will explore the answers to the following questions:

  • What are the key determinants of socio-economic well-being of the population under macroeconomic instability?

  • What international experience needs to be implemented in Ukraine for effective institutional and organisational support of socio-economic well-being of the population?

  • What are the strategic priorities of the state policy of social protection and economic support of the population of Ukraine under current conditions?
