Ella Libanova

Ella Libanova is a well-known economist and demographer, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honoured Economist of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 

A number of her published works are devoted to poverty issues, and the results of her research on the labour market have been published not only in Ukraine but also under the auspices of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Organization for Migration.

Academician Ella Libanova is actively engaged in scientific and expert research. She is a speaker at expert platforms such as the Kyiv International Economic Forum and the Ukrainian Pension Forum.

Ella Libanova is a member of the editorial boards of authoritative scientific journals; she chairs the Specialised Academic Council for the defence of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the speciality ‘Demography, Labour Economics and Social Policy’, is a member of the Specialised Academic Council for the defence of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the speciality ‘Statistics’ at the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
