Statistics of the 21st Century: New Challenges and Opportunities

The conference “Statistics of the 21st Century: New Challenges and New Opportunities” is devoted to the statistical grounding of management decisions amid the transformational processes of Ukraine’s economy. The modern world is adapting to new challenges linked to the transformation of the economy and society, and making effective decisions at every level of managing complex socio-economic systems requires appropriate analytical support, grounded in modern statistical tools capable of analyzing complex socio-economic and demographic processes. Particular attention is paid to analytical capabilities and information support for management decisions, macroeconomic challenges facing statistics, issues of demography and social economics, and the transformation of business analytics and statistical education under new conditions.

The conference will address the following areas:
