PIERA DI STEFANO

Piera Di Stefano is a lawyer who practices data protection, online reputation management for individuals and businesses, and computer crimes. After earning her legal degree from Federico II University of Naples, she trained under Bologna-based lawyer Danilo Zanasi, monitoring criminal cases in Albania and Italy. Her interest in the legal implications of technological innovation has grown over time, leading her to co-found the T.R.ON® (Tutela della Reputazione ONline) service with Michele Di Somma in 2012 and to present the Avvocato del Web® project in 2017. Piera holds the title of Privacy Officer and is listed in the Register of Masters of Data Protection & Data Protection Designer® IIP. She is also a member of Federprivacy, Privacy Academy, and Forensics Group, co-founder of the ISDC association, co-organizer of the Legal Hackers Chapter Naples-Campania, and a member of the scientific committees of ANDIP and the Consumerismo non-profit organization. Piera is on the ethics committee of Convy School, lectures master’s courses, and contributes to specialized periodicals.
