Biography

Volodymyr Verhun is a ScD in Economics, Professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine, Honored Professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

1996–2000 –Volodymyr Verhun was Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany. 2003–2014 – He headed the Department of International Business at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He was an intern at the Kiel Institute for World Economy (Germany) and the University of Toronto (Canada). He is the author of more than 200 scientific papers on topical issues of international economic relations and international business. Volodymyr Verhun actively participates in the work of the University’s Scientific and Expert Council and in the training of international specialists; he has supervised 18 PhD and 3 doctoral thesis.
