Biography

Olena Fomina’s name is associated with the development of accounting science in Ukraine. Olena Fomina regularly participates in prestigious international seminars and conferences. More than 250 of her scientific papers have been published in Ukrainian and foreign journals, about 20 of them in publications included in the Scopus and WS databases, as well as 7 monographs, 2 of which were published in the EU in English. She participates in the development of 5 international projects, including international funding.

Olena Fomina is an active member of the Sectoral Council for the Development of Professional Standards in Accounting and Auditing at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, an expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the chair of the specialized academic council for the defense of doctoral dissertations at State University of Trade And Economics, and a member of the FPAAU.
