The EFBM Student Challenge: Smart City Ecosystem of the Forum EFBM 2.0: Changes. Adaptation. New Economy is open to 2nd, 3rd, 4th year, and master’s students of Faculty of Economics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The EFBM Student Challenge: Smart City Ecosystem seeks to broaden students’ understanding of the possibilities for implementing the smart city concept in Ukraine.
Students will participate in the Forum EFBM 2.0: Changes. Adaptation. New Economy as part of the Challenge. The contest focuses on fostering communication between the youth and business, government and academics to exchange information and discuss best practices to address the challenges of developing a smart city concept in Ukraine.
Within the panel discussion Smart City: the Challenges of a Modern City, student teams are given a specific case to analyse and design a scenario for implementing a smart city concept. The teams will submit their ideas to a jury panel made up of respected Ukrainian and Norwegian experts.
Preliminary schedule
September 5-10, 2021 – deadline for applications for participation in the Challenge
September 13, 2021 – case announcement and team formation
September 30, 2021 – presentation of the scenario to the jury panel and announcement of a winner
