Yurii Umantsiv

Yurii Umantsiv is a ScD in Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Competition Policy at the State University of Trade and Economics. His research focuses on the methodology of economic theory, as well as the conceptual foundations of competitiveness and competition policy. He is involved in advising companies in the financial and non-financial sectors, and develops public policy recommendations for state and local authorities. Yurii Umantsiv is a reviewer for specialized American periodicals indexed in international scientometric databases, a member of the editorial board of Ukrainian professional publications, and the author of more than 100 scientific papers, many of which have been published in English in journals in the USA, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, and Latvia.

Under the scientific supervision of Yurii Umantsiv, 10 PhD theses were defended. He is actively involved in the organizing and holding of international scientific and practical conferences, symposia and webinars as a speaker and moderator, and participates in projects that bring together representatives of education, science and business.
